This Father's Day, treat your dad to a car show that is truly unique, the Rodeo Drive Concours d'Elegance on June 17th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is the show's 25th year, and takes place right on iconic Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles California. It's easy to think that a Concours-type show is reserved for the foreign 1-of-1s, prototypes, and multi-million dollar restorations. Vehicles of that genre are present, but diversity and the presence of the biggest domestic icons are more than welcome.
"American cars are diverse and exciting, appealing to every type of enthusiast, "says Bruce Meyer, Charman of the Rodeo Drive Concours D'Elegance. "Pre-war cars, hot rods, lowriders, muscle cars, luxury models, supercars and every other conceivable type of domestic automobile will be on display at the show, each a rare and well-kept example."
Before you head home from work today, take a minute to check out some of the American classics from pre-war to the muscle-car era that will be attending the show. If you'd like to enter a vehicle into the event, the registration deadline is June 1st. The show will take place on Father's Day, June 17th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
