Back in 2013, a reader contacted us, saying he had the 1970 Dodge Charger his Grandmother had bought brand-new. She had gone into the dealership to purchase a new Dodge Monaco, but saw the Charger sitting in the showroom and had to have it. We met up with the gentleman and took a look at the Charger, as well as his customized 1970's Dodge Van, which was chronicled in HOT ROD (Burnt-Out 1970 Dodge Charger With A Side Of Van)

Recently we had the opportunity to travel through the same area and contacted the family to see if they still had the car. Upon our arrival, they were more than happy to give a tour of the barns. Other than a few small changes, not much it changed. The Charger and van had not moved from their respective locations.

As happens, time gets away from them. The family is busy and has not been unable to give the vehicles the time and attention required to get them out. The cars are safe and in mostly dry conditions, so getting them up and going shouldn't be that bad, the van being the easier, with a half-finished engine swap still in the Charger.
